Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon relocated into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, including commercials and independent films. Her passion for acting quickly grew in the field of acting despite the small roles. After 2001, she relocated into New York where her first part was in All My Children's morning soap as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short film The Mountain.
